Day 1 -Depart For Queen Elizabeth National Park
our safari guide will pick you from your hotel and drive you on the southbound road connecting to Queen Elizabeth National Park situated in the south western part of Uganda. You will have a stop over at the traditional royal drum makers, and later drive to Masaka. You will have another stopover at the Equator for photographs and an enroute lunch at Mbarara. After lunch descend to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, keeping an eye on the scenic landscape of this region. We will enter the park while game viewing before we arrive at the lodge for dinner and Overnight accommodation in either Mweya/Jacana.
Day 2 -Queen Elizabeth Tour :Game Drive and Launch Cruise
Wake up for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators retuning to their hideouts. Queen Elizabeth national park boasts of over 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species thus making this park a superb safari territory. On the drive you are likely to see elephants, comical warthogs, the elusive giant forest hogs, handsome Uganda kobs, lions among others. Return to the lodge for breakfast, and relax during the heat of the day as you wait for lunch. Take a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel and embark on another evening game drive through the Kasenyi plains and the Mweya peninsula where a variety of fauna can be seen most especially antelopes. Day 3-Chimpanzee Tracking Tour /Nature Walk
After breakfast have an excursion to Kyambura gorge to track the fast moving and elusive chimpanzees. OR go for a nature walk in Maramagambo Forest for tree identification, primate viewing; visit the bat caves and the blue lake. After lunch return to Kampala arriving late in the evening.
DAY 8- Queen Elizabeth NP - Bwindi Impenetrable NP
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest passing either via Ishasha, the home of the tree climbing lion, or take the alternative route through cultivated expanses. Day 2 -Bwindi gorilla tour
will involve hiking into the forest for the mountain gorilla families in Bwindi. From your camp, you will take morning tea then get the necessary equipments for hiking. With in the forest you will see the three different groups of gorillas like those of Nkuringo with 19 gorillas...[.more.]
